ERNESTINE GUIJERI SAMBAM

Ernestine is a Cameroonian aged 49. A holder of the G.C.E Advanced level Certificate and professional Grade 1 certificate. She speaks and writes English and speaks little French. She started teaching in 2006 and has taught in four different Catholic schools in the Diocese of Buea where she held the position of Bursar in three of the schools. She joined the CUIB Academy of Talents family in 2017 where she is currently teaching. She is passionate about learning new ways of doing things and reaching out to others. She has as hobbies; reading, singing and cooking. Her vision is to develop the reading and spelling skills of children through small reading groups.

ANNEGRET AYUK ENOW TANYI

Annegret Ayuk Enow Tanyi is a holder of Advanced Level Commercial and CAPIEMP from G.T.T.C Buea, 2013. She speaks and writes English fluently and understands French. Annegret started teaching in the Catholic University Institute of Buea in the Kids program organized in April 2017. She has undergone four pedagogic trainings organized by the Delegation of Basic Education in the South West Region from 2015 to 2019 and a Growth Mindset training organized by the Central Administration of CUIB from May to June 2019. Annegret Ayuk has served as the deputy head teacher of CUIB A&T in the Academic year 2017/2018. She has worked as a teacher for six years now. Ayuk Enow aspires to further her Educational career to a degree in Educational Psychology. She is passionate and enthusiastic about teaching. Her vision is to use her talents, skills and knowledge to impact pupils and to improve her Computer skills.

Esther Tembe Njweng

Esther Tembe Njweng, holds an Ordinary Level and Advanced Level Certificates in the year 2007 and 2009. She enrolled into FGBTTC in Mbengwi where she obtained her Teacher’s Grade one Certificate (CAPIEMP). Esther has been teaching for 9 years now. She has taught in Restoration Faith Bilingual Nursery and Primary School – Douala, HOTPEC Lower Bokova, Fonge Academy. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Educational Psychology with a minor in Library Science at the University of Buea. Currently she is a Teacher at CUIB A&T where she has been a class teacher for two years. Esther aspires to be a guardian counselor. She loves teaching, reading and sports.

JOSEPH NDONGE NKEN

Mr. Joseph Ndonge Nken is a holder of the Teacher’s Grade one Certificate, obtained in 2011. He has taught Mathematics and Physics in the following schools; Christian Comprehensive College Bogwango, Government Secondary School Ntong and Government Technical College Ntong. He has also taught as classroom teacher in Future Hope International Bilingual Nursery and Primary school and in Saint Mark Catholic Primary School Great Soppo Native. Presently he is teaching class two in CUIB Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy. His aspirations is to become a businessman in future.

Academic Qualification: Master of Arts in Tourism Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University India

Professional Experience:

In January 2014 Brunhilda was employed into the Catholic University Institute of Buea as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management. She taught the following courses during the period  working as Assistant Lecturer; Customer Service in Tourism, Fundamentals of Hotel Industry, Event Management, History and Geography for Tourism and Introduction to Tourism. From January 2019 due to her hard work, she was appointed Head Teacher of Catholic University Institute of Buea Elementary Entrepreneurial Academy, The Growth Mindset Academy of Talents. As Head Teacher she is responsible of the Management of Pupils, Teachers, and relating with stakeholders.

Apart from the two principal responsibilities held, she has also held other responsibilities such as Manager of St. Martha Faculty, Staff and Students Restaurant at CUIB from January 2014 to December 2014, Liaison Trainer at the St. Martha Faculty, Staff and Students Restaurant from August 2015 to June 2016, Vice Dean for the School of Business at CUIB from June 2017 to June 2018 and Assistant Coordinator at the Center for Mobile and Ubiquitous Teaching and Learning at CUIB from June 2018 to January 2019.

Currently, apart from being the Head Teacher of CUIB A&T, Fuchi is also a Facilitator in the Centre for Training and Development in CUIB.

Brunhilda has gone through many internal Training and Development programs in CUIB. The following are some of the programs she has gone through.

• Training on Boundaries relating to work ethics in an Organization, organized by CUIB in August 2015.
• Annual Faculty and Staff Leadership Training Program, held annually at CUI.
• Re-thinking Education in a Conflicting Landscape, organized by CUIB, February 2018.
• Team Building program with Go Ahead Africa, in CUIB, February 2017.
• Crisis Management Training, organized by CUIB, March 2017.
• Customer Experience Summit organized by the Institute for Customer Service Buea, in Douala, June 2018.
• One month Training on how to be a Growth mindset School organized by CUIB from May to June 2019.

Apart from working in CUIB, Brunhilda is very passionate about Music, embroidery and catering. She has held the post of Music Director in 3 choirs from 2004 to 2018. She is passionate in training young Cameroonians in embroidery and how to bake.
